Congratulations to Tony Austin and the Team. The Frog & Orange are the Division One Winners of the Canterbury league and, therefore CHAMPIONS !!!
They were thereabouts throughout the season and finally pipped there rivals to the top spot with crucial wins in the last two matches of the season. It’s the Frog and Orange’s first championship (in this Format) and they were pushed all the way by The Huntsman & Horn, Castle and the defending champions Red Lion B. So once again congratulations to all of the members of the team that have taken part over the season.
The Team held their own singles tournament which was won by Wayne Catherall beating Tony Austin in the final. Pictures of the night can be viewed via the link to Bat & Trap Singles Night. So overall the team have had a superb season with Wayne Catherall and Keith Pope also winning the Canterbury leagues doubles competition.
